A few notes: 

Spectators: Please remind your parents that if they have issues with a race, whether it be place, DQ, or another swimmer. They should bring the issue to the coach or you. They should never approach a meet official to see what happened. Even if your parent is trained as a stroke and turn or a judge, if they are not working they still cannot approach an active working official. 

Coaching:

It was brought to our attention that a few teams inadvertently forgot to mark their C Relays as exhibition. In the following meets please remind your coaches to mark them as exhibition. Meet Officials: We do know that it is hard to come by officials for the trained positions. Please try and have them shadow for a short time before letting them go solo. We did hear of a few instances this week where some DQs were overturned for small errors such as: Wrong swimmer on the dq slip, wrong event and wrong swimmer, and wrong code for the stroke that was being swam. Sorry for the not so great news this week. Please continue to encourage your teams to have fun and be the best they can be.
