The Caroline Orcas are members of the Rappahannock Swim League (RSL)- a recreational summer swim league for the greater Fredericksburg, Virginia region. Over 2,000 swimmers participate in this league ranging in age from 5-18. The team swims out of the Caroline Family YMCA and we're looking to add swimmers for the season. We look forward to having you join us this summer!
Our goal at the Caroline Orcas is to cultivate an atmosphere which fosters good teamwork, while also allowing for personal growth and achievement. Participants must be able to swim 25 yards of freestyle or backstoke without stopping, or grabbing the lane line. While it is a competition, summer league is also about having fun while instilling a life-long love of swimming. We encourage swimmers of all levels to come and join our team. If you have concerns about your young swimmer, please come talk to us. Many swimmers are capable of competing their first year.
